Dar 91 is a private and self-contained house with its own roof terraces, in the picturesque, walled old town of Essaouira. Tucked away in a district of the medina relatively untouched by tourism the house is a home from home for ourselves, our family, friends and guests.Here you can sit back and watch everyday Moroccan life unfold: children playing and collecting water from the communal well; women scurrying back and forth from the public oven; men spinning yarn chatting on street corners or heading back from a fishing expedition. Restored by local craftsmen, the 19th century house now features beautiful, reclaimed Moroccan doors, floor tiles and furniture, along with an eclectic mix of local and European fixtures, soft furnishings and accessories.
